Home of the Sharks
Welcome to Captain John Smith Elementary School in Hampton, Virginia. We are a neighborhood public school serving nearly 400 students from grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade. As a school with a Title I program, we have reading and math specialists available, as well as a family engagement specialist to assist students and their families so that all can thrive in our community and beyond.
Please help our school earn funds with your everyday purchases of products in the Box Tops For Education program. If you see the old type logo on top of a box, please clip it and send it to the school. There are still many products out there with this logo.
The program is going all digital soon so at this time, most products no longer require clipping. You just need to download the Box Tops For Education app on your smart phone. Then after signing up and choosing your school, you will simply need to scan your purchase receipt into the app by using your smart phone's camera. The funds will automatically be credited to the school.
Please visit the Smith Elementary Library page to learn about our wonderful library; to find out which books are available to be checked out; and to find links to many student resource websites.
